ThermoPro 1660 attic hatches feature a box made of 5/8″ thick exterior grade plywood. Its 16″ height allows for blow-in insulation according to new energy standards. The door is made from ½” thick primed particleboard laminated onto 15″ thick expanded polystyrene, with dual weatherstripping for maximum airtightness. The door also features a removable handle, allowing you to pull it down with ease.
